Getting back with an ex?

Back in the day I built a black turbo'd mx5 that I regretted selling.

Was my first adventure with forced induction and fondness for JDM parts. Some may remember it from the predecessor to clubroadster as posted a few photos of it back in the day. As an early build it was never to the same standards of my later builds but said car much like some ex's held good memories. I've now seen it up for sale and boy am I'm tempted to get her back!

The Corns is the only car I've ever I bought back. However this had only been gone for a year while this black car went 7 to 8 years ago. Looking at the photos of the black one its in need of some TLC, missing some of the bits I did but inherently all still there.

Boy so tempted!

Hi Randy, this is the car. It is morning here now in the UK so following a night out my head is clearer and it was 2005 I owed this car so nearly 10 years ago. I sold it to buy a lotus elise which lasted a year before I came back to the mx5 scene in 2007ish and then that year bought the silver car, etc.

It is only running a greddy turbo. I had plans for a fm2 kit for this car but sold it so a lot of what the silver car became would have gone into this car had things been different.

It's for sale for £2.5k here in the UK now. Bits are missing from when I owned it before and it's not as tidy but boy am I tempted as although I owned quite a few mx5s before this one I have always looked out to see if this one was for sale and now it is!

Deliberating buying it back. Its got some back in the day mods that wouldn't be around now 17' wheels, Audi TT style bar, Lexus dark rear lights. I wait and see if a deal can be done.

The current owner of my first NA, the one I had for 12 years, is going to offer it back to me next year. It may be a straight trade for my current daily driver, he has experienced interest in it. I am still deliberating the decision.
