'99 Side Skirts /Removal

If a '99 has factory installed side skirts and they are removed will there be visible bolt holes on the car?
I know there will be tape residue to clean and can see the screws at the wheel wells but what about looking at the car? What needs to be done?

Depends. My '99 had holes drilled in the rockers for the retaining strip. I have seen '01+ just have tape holding them on.

You could slide a piece if thin plastic down from the top to feel for the retaining strips.
