Works with every HVAC design I've ever done. Also will work with any future or custom HVAC panels I might make.

The machined aluminum trim rings are diamond tooled and hand polished for a gorgeous shine.

^ Thanks! It's my first machined part. Baby steps to getting all the skills necessary to make a gauge cluster.

I feel like I should mention a few things... This is, obviously, inspired directly by the AWD HVAC panel. It's a piece I've had for a long time and have always loved. I opened up the "portholes" as much as the OEM plastic panel allows so that it would work with all of my designs. Mine is aluminum vs. stainless on the AWD piece. And mine is anodized.

The trim ring is also very similar to the AWD piece. There's minor differences in angles and finish. It works with my vent ring design so well, I didn't want to change much. Unfortunately, the trim ring was stupid expensive to make. Just one of them costs 50% more than a whole set of four vent rings, my cost. But I had to start somewhere with machined parts.

I hope folks like this new part!

some day soon I will have to go a little nuts and buy all of your centre console stuff to go with my warbirds. They are lovely little extra details that really make the interior pop.

Are there any photos floating around of just the ring installed?

It looks quite nice by itself and fits the OEM panel well.

I just wish my cost on the HVAC rings were better. That piece is stupid expensive to have made.

I may end up just buying the panel and the HVAC ring since both pieces aren't much more together. Maybe install the panel to see how it looks and if I don't like it, keep it or sell it. Still trying to decide.
