Hey Everyone. I have an NA with Hard Dog M1 Hardcore Single Diagonal roll bar, which I bought since its the tallest rollbar that works with a top. I recently bought an OEM hardtop and it fits on no problem. I'm using Garagestar brackets instead of the side latches. So, the rollbar makes contact with the hardtop and when the car flexes from something like a bump in the road, the contact between the top and bar makes a squeaking/rubbing noise. Anyone have any tips on how to eliminate this noise?
I know that the easy solution is to get a different rollbar. However, I also have a ProjectG Bikini Top and getting a hardtop rollbar will render my Bikini top unusable since the rollbar will sit about an inch further back. I was thinking of maybe putting some fabric between them so the contact is smooth.
