How can I improve 2012 driver's seat comfort?

I have a 2012 Miata and on long duration drives something in the left side of the seat bottom digs into my left "cheek". I think it is the seat height adjustment. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, did you resolve it? I am thinking about removing the seat height adjustment but don't know how difficult that might be or if that would resolve the discomfort.

Please give me some slack as I am a first time "poster".

I haven't seen a stripped '12 seat, but if it has a frame to delineate the side bolsters, you may be able to spread it a bit. Maybe try to find another Miata with the same seats to see if it has the same issue. If not, it *could* fall under the warranty if it is still on the car. Maybe a bunched seam or manufacturing defect allowing you to feel whatever it is that is there?
