I have been looking for this brace for some time. I have contacted the OP but to no avail. Maybe someone here knows this front upper tower brace? Thanks in advance.

Looks like a D'cuatro from the early 1990's. Hard to tell from that angle. Does the owner not know what he has or did you mean he is not responding to you?

In this cars hay day in Japan pretty much EVERY tuner made a strut tower bar for these cars. I would say at least 50 different versions/brands just in Japan. Not including the UK and the USA.

Not responding. Another pic from his photo bucket. I have an identical SC that's why I really like this brace.

Not responding.

Huh? Phat responded 18 minutes before this post. Looks like a nice brace but the best is one that connects to the firewall IMO:

That was a brace from the 90s / early 00s designed to work with the M45 hotside blower. The same company made a straight one and that bent one. It was angled back to give plenty of clearance for the blower. I'm pretty sure it was USDM, but I don't remember the brand off the top of my head. Randy is likely correct in it being D'cuatro.

As I recall, it wasn't extremely useful or stiff. The desirable JRSC-compatible braces connected to the firewall.

I have seen the moss version but my concern is that wall is pretty thin. How can that support the brace? Unless probably a large enough sandwich plate will be in place at the back? Also that wall is just a rain guard. In my VW Corrado days we use to shave them. I really question its structural value. Just my opinion. Now the lower part maybe a better spot to bolt on a brace.

What you can't see is the thick bracket behind the thin sheet metal that mounts to the base of the firewall. I guess Carbing makes the original aluminum and my steel Moss is a copy but functionally, it was solid. Plus, this brace offers a foundation for a DIY master cylinder stopper. It wasn't a cakewalk though. In order to work with the M45 supercharger, I had to use their flex kit which replaced the Rotomolded tube and since I had ABS, had to slightly loosen the steel lines and move them a bit in order to clear.

Here you go, take a look and see how it mounts.

Ah ok that makes more sense thanks. AgentOrange that engine bay of yours is so well appointed. So it looks like Moss is just logical option then. Man I really like the tubular look.

After seeing his second photo I'm pretty sure it is not a D'cuatro, I'd have to dig through a bunch of MCA issues. Not likely as I'm feeling lazy right now.
