These are my first performance tires so I have nothing to compare them too, but I love them. The grip is great and the sidewalls are really stiff despite being a 60 series. I know some people think having that large of sidewall looks bad, but I like the look.

I dare you to try and find the name of these wheels (no really, try because I haven't had any luck). To me they kinda look like a mixture between a BBS mesh and RPF-1 with a convex face. They're extremely light, though I have no measurement. I've only been able to find one other person on VWVortex who has a set.

Just a suggestion, could you guys post both tire size AND manufacturer when posting pics? Helps out when trying to match or compare stretch.

Also, I havent been able to find decent pictures of a 195/50-15. Everyone posts artsy pics that don't help when comparing, lol.

Discontinued ASA cheapies. 14x6 185/60-14 Zexus All-seasons. I hate the whole set up, but the wheels were free and the tires were cheap. I have grown fond of the silver though.

Yeah, i'm afraid I may be stuck with 512's. With all the tires I have run in the past, the 512's always seem to stretch the best.

I'd love a set of 15x8 BBS RM/RS with a decent offset, but at roughly $1,300+ for set it will be a very long time before I get them.

Its so insane how much these have gone up in value over just the past couple years. I remember buying full sets of RM's for a couple hundred bucks back before 2009. My RS's only cost $600 back then.

^ Please don't get fender flares unless you're going to add some meat to those wheels (which I think would look totally awesome). If you're getting flares just because you're having a hard time fitting the wheels under the car as is, the please consider smaller tires to do so rather than flares.

Thanks man! I got the autokonexion kit with the rear quarters, lip and front flares. But I think it should look alright. When i mocked it up the lip was sitting flush with new flare (obviously if it were lower) but you get the idea.

I honestly haven't decided on the front flares though, i love rear quarters & lip but the flares in the front don't do it for me yet.

We'll see though.

I don't know if he did...but one shouldn't need to pull fenders for a 15x8 +20 with 205's. It's a perfect fit with simply flat-rolled fenders.

Did you have to flare the fenders for the TR 15X8s?

No flares for these. I did have to roll and pull the fenders as I'm sitting pretty low and still have a camber setup for 195s. If you don't go quite as low you might be able to just roll the fenders.

Thanks. My mistake, they're 14's (14x7) and not 15's. They barely clear my Wilwood and scratches on bounces, so these did not do it for me.
They're going to go on the other Miata.

Thank you for the compliment :8): They are not a huge "look at me" as far as the offset & width go..... But they are Import rims here & are quite rare to be seen here in Australia. I only know of about 3-4 sets that I know of that are on roadsters. I should be picking up another set in a few weeks for track wheels witch are slightly rashed & scratched & I got them for a good price :bow:

Just fitted my SSR Watanabe's 15x6.5"
The car needs a wash badly and I'm still to fit the cusco coilovers which will be slightly lowered. As the car is a daily driver I'll be keeping the ride height conservative, plus I don't want to stuff up the geometry.

FAQ: 43 lbs with tire. Road force balance on a Hunter machine, always. No problems with vibration. No, have never leaked air, needed retruing or popped a spoke. About 3 hours of polishing per wheel once a summer.

The hypers are what I have and they look great. Best part is the lips are not colored like the centers so it's a nice contrast. The other color I thought about was the "raw" finish ones.

Put them on yesterday. Letting them settle for a few days before I adjust. Rides great as is, no rubbing. Probably leaving the rear and dropping the front some more depending on where it settles.

WedsSport ma86 15x8.5 offset -10 4x100 and 4x114.3 6kg's Retailed at $600ish a piece here with 225/45 bfg rival. I got mine for a STEAL and new, on auction :mrgreen:

Compomotive ML1590 in 15x9 offset 0 with 225/45 bfg rival, 8.6kg or so. Like $1200 for 4 or so, comp went down a few years back, but up again now and these are available, and for people in the EU a good choice, for americans I think Rota would be cheaper, unless there is a US comp importer.
