This might be of interest;

NA8C-SR1 Approx. 1.2 kg Approx. 4.2 kg 8.9 kg

So the NB6 flywheel is basically the M2-1001 flywheel :), which might explain why my M2-1002 felt pretty lively for a "standard engine". The standard NB6 flywheel is lighter than the old IL Motorsport Sports Flywheel, and only 0.1kg heavier than the Maruha Type 01R flywheel. Previously, the NB6 flywheel was identified as the "European flywheel".

so what your saying is I should go to all the local scrap yards pull all the NB6's flywheels I can and sell them to guys in the US with some BS markup? (I wont I'm far too lazy but I can see a few others doing so)

Do you have part numbers for which is best for the 1.6 and 1.8?

Now for the clutch. Does the NB6 use a standard NA or NB size?

Same clutch as NA6. Went to weigh my NB6 flywheel I've just pulled from the old engine and it weighs approx 7 kg

If someone can pull the flywheel from a 1.5-1.6 Protege (323), it should be the same. The same part number B6S711500A was shared.
