Finally!

That looks like they drilled holes in the trunk again...so it's not removable. Well, those 4 pedestals on the edges aren't at least. Wait, is that a 3rd brake light inside the rack? But the point of a trunk rack is to protect the paint so the car still looks good or something? I'd rather strap my luggage directly on top of the trunk with a blanket, then run that skeleton permanently. Really Mazda, three-tone? Black AND silver AND (exposed) body(sorta...you tried...) color hardware? Do I put the metal hooks on the end of my bungee cords on that carbon fiber edge? Gah, there's so much wrong with this! Why are they trying to reinvent the trunk rack!?

Oh well, I'm not a candidate for the ND anyway. Someone like Raceland will rectify this for Mazda. :fp:

Even though I must say I don't like it, I don't think any holes need to be drilled, or so I hope. Maybe it's some soft material underneath supporting it?

That's what I thought it was when I first saw the picture!

I don't hate it, but I also fail to see the utility. A curved trunk rack that requires tie downs a touch close to paint for my liking
