eBay for the Porsche is about the only place you'll find it right now, the Toy Fair hasn't happened yet (I think it's mid-February), which is why the prices are up in the $200 range. They'll come down after but not likely by much. Another option is if you know someone going but even that's no guarantee.

I traded a local guy for a Porsche Super Hunt (cost me a couple skylines), and bought the Orange/Gold Toy Fair for $60, which believe was about as low as it will ever go.

I have to get a couple more Super Hunt Porsche as I gave away my only one for Christmas, need to dig out some other cars I can trade with this guy as he has way more cool recent stuff than me. But I have all the old stuff that is worth a lot more now.

Finally had a decent haul at Walmart today. 2 Walmarts I was at yesterday with my dad had nothing. 3rd Walmart today has all this.
Zamacs! The Porsche Outlaw! The Z! Trucks! Datsuns! F150s for custom monster trucks! Several things I have been looking for with no luck the last two months.

Dump bin full of the trucks series with that elusive Datsun. Got a bunch of the Datsuns if anyone wants any. Ill be passing the same store in the morning after work if anyone needs me to grab more.

I have now protected my $upers. Only grievance is that the clearance is so tight that I had to slightly push in the sides a bit, which may have softened one or two of the corners.

There's a particular method to using those packs. But they actually protect the corners better than any other pack, especially the Hot Wheels pack, which will curl the corners of a mainline card immediately.

Check out matchboxworld on Instagram....just posted a photo of the ND Matchbox Miata with a new set of wheels. Apparently they did a small run of the first old-school wheels before switching to the modern 5 spoke design. WOO WOO!

They've also confirmed that the first wheel design already shipped and they switched to these wheels mid-production. So there will be two wheel designs out for this car.

Found some stuff in a WM after helping a friend look at an FD he was thinking of buying. But never mind that stuff, nothing all that great, but I am here to post an ebay mail box find. Nothing all that special, but when I saw it, I thought it looked really awesome.

Cost $4.50, $3.50 of which was shipping. Of course it ain't worth that, but I think it's one of the neater tampo designs HW did for the '70 Daytona back in '01. It obviously draws inspiration from a P-51 Mustang, and hey, I think it's a brilliant tampo design and choice for the wing car of NASCAR.

I've had some luck recently with a local antique shop that bought a bunch of hotwheels. I was able to pick up 13 Datsun 510 Bluebird sedans and one wagon. I dont have a firm grasp on whats rare or unique or collectible yet, I just buy cars that appeal to my taste in actual cars.

They likely haven't done their reset yet (which is occurring at most Targets currently) and they'll put them out after that's done. Some employees are nice enough to bring the cases out anyway but it's not required for them to. Also with this reset, certain Targets are getting a little mini-bin to put out on the shelf below the pegs and 2 or 3 cases shipped with it. Sounds like that store got 3 cases (216 cars) with their mini-bin. But now you know where to keep an eye on at least.

On another note, if you're looking for E case cars at your Walmart, just be aware that E case is also shipping in 72-ct endcap shippers for some crazy reason and they may be hanging on an endcap or two somewhere. I've seen a few posts stating that 2 or 3 shippers were found in various locations throughout the toy dept., so that release is not limited to bins.

found a store selling the BMW sets but they wanted 2.50 each that's twice the retail of a normal car here. However it means its likely other stores will get them soon.

Also found these at the £1 store. sadly not a single whole set so I just got what I liked the look of and left.

Made one set out of them and didn't have enough for a second set so they're not shipping them in any usable quantity, the cards were in rough shape and the blisters have tape like the Rad Trucks did. Bought a Torino and Mustang for a local buddy and left the rest.

new stuff always starts high, but rare for a T-hunt to stay high unless its uber low production or strange variation, which they really are not limited anymore, its just scalpers hording. Mattel makes millions of the regulars and at least 5x,xxx, to 1xx,xxx range in the super hunts, that's my guess anyhow.

The original Treasure Hunts from 1996 at least stated on the cards limited 1 of 10,000. They have not shown that on a card in many many years. That is why mostly I got into the RLC stuff.

That's not correct. eBay takes 10% of the final value including the shipping cost and PayPal gets 2.9% + $0.30 of the incoming payment. For instance one of my recent auctions sold for $89.99 + $9.01 for shipping. That's $99.00 total. eBay charged $9.90 for that completed auction.

Selling lots on eBay is actually a pretty fast way to unload a bunch of stuff, a local buddy did that to the unwanted part of his mainline collection and actually did really well. Filled up a flat rate box, took pictures of everything that fit, and let each auction run as a bidding auction starting at $0.99. In most cases he managed to average $1 per car in his auctions. I'll be doing something similar pretty soon.

This thing is... really nice. I was on the fence but Eric pushed me over (his is the one still in the case). Glad I was pushed because this car... damn. Perfect detailing. Nice heft. Literally nothing that could be done with it as far as more detailing. And the fact that it matches the recent basic paint makes me super happy.

Found the NEW Honda CR-X today!!

This is a new casting, as the first one that appeared in the Blvd Series, Cool Classics, and the Hot Ones series was a 2-piece body.

Notice on the photo of mine you can see the bottom half Chrome Plastic and Red Metal Top half.

The newer version is a 1-piece body.

Mattel probably did this to cut production costs. However from a collectors stand point it makes the first release even more valuable.

There are some other slight changes too, notice the rear spoiler is more exaggerated on the first production model. And the front turn signals are integrated into the body instead of using clear plastic turn signals.

If you haven't seen it, there's an error with the Pro Stock Camaro in the Spring mix and mainlines. It has the SuperTH body on the mainline chassis and there have been a lot of them found so far.
I found two in my local Target's Spring shipper so watch carefully!

Went to a pretty good sized show today.

I came in hopes of a carded $uper 510 wagon, and/or a 240 $uper. I found the only wagon there in a few minutes. He wanted 75 and was firm. I offered him 65 cash or a straight trade for the BRE RLC 240. He didn't budge. I walked away. (At the end of the show, it was still unsold, along with his two Ferrari $upers.)

I overheard that someone had a 240, and when I got there I was told it was sold a few minutes before, for $25. I was devastated.

Somehow, later on, walking around the show, I caught a glimpse of the card in someones bag, and asked if it was the $uper. After several attempts and run ins to try to get it off of him, I offered him $35, and he took it. It made my day.

These are super desirable by Hot Wheels collectors for their weight, and these don't have Real Rider wheels, instead they are plastic so these will haul butt on a downhill track.

Ask Corey, I removed some stickers right in front of him, the nice thing is that it drys up with no damage to the cards. This is the same stuff I used on my Miata to remove the pinstripes BTW.

White one is a custom replica i did of my current miata. One of my first customs.

Pretty cool that hot wheels miata are both the approximate size like in real world. Matchbox miata is a bit larger. Detail in both are awesome.

Hot wheels miata has intercooler, tow hook, diffuser, hood latches that are part of casting and tampoed over. Cant wait to get more to customize( cut that ugly wing off)

Edit: the reflections on the front headlights of car on card looks different.

There are three subtle differences, one which ezmfne saw:
1. Car color in card art is darker for $TH (more distinct in person)
2. Reflection on passenger headlight for $TH card
3. Wheels spokes are oriented differently between the two

On one hand I feel like it's a pretty neat "error", on the other I can't help but feeling like a factory worker substituted a mainline for the Super and I'm down a Super. lol

Surprised I found any of that stuff. Grabbed two of the Beatles subs (only found 2) in case my friend hadn't found one yet... he had. So now got two of them. Got lucky with three of the Japan Historics, had to get the other two off ebay. '70 Daytona caem from ebay as well. The dekotora trucks are so awesome. The fact that they come with the bosozoku cars tells ya Hot Wheels knows what they're doing from time to time.

In other news, I may end up with 2 more sets of the Japan Historics? I had placed a pre-order for a case of them at 1stopdiecast back in Jan., and once it went past the expected ship date and I heard nothing from them about the order, I just kind of forgot about it. Then when checking my bank account I noticed a charge from 1stopdiecast, which can only be for the Japan Historics since I haven't ordered anything from them besides that. Chances are good I'll be selling one set to my friend and keeping the other set.

Far as I know, there was only the single, no dupes, set of 10 on the pegs. Hot Wheels Garage series could be back, but to a lesser degree. They aren't premium metal/metal w/ Real Riders cars, just normal cars with nice decos. Still, nice card art I'd say and I really like the models.

I think I'm going to start grabbing an NYPD set when I see them. Get about 5, have a small precincts fleet of vehicles (now have 2). Found a 3rd ND, hope to keep finding them. And the foxbody State Trooper because, why not? Plus, I was finally able to find the Batman V. Superman Mad Manga. My local WM was a wee bit behind putting them out I guess.

My K-Mart is a joke. Half the lights are shut off and the thermostat is set at one degree below outside 95+ temps. The Nathan's hot dog shop is dark there is only one cashier/manager but is a super hot 19ish in in black yoga tights and jacket.

The Hot Wheels "collection" is about eleven cars that I saw last time I was here half a decade ago and that absolutely nobody has wanted since 2008.

Why even go through the motions? Is there a Chef Ramsey for department stores? Just close the f*ing doors already!
