So until this morning I was set on picking up a set of 14x7 +19 RPF1s but I have found a set of white 16x7 +42 Volk TE37s at a comparable price with tires.
Mostly I just wanted some opinions on if the 16x7 will be to big for my NA and if they wont look as good, with the +42 offset. If someone has pics of these on a red NA or can photoshop it that would be awesome!

My car is mainly used as a spirited DD but will see a few track and AutoX days every year so I'm looking for a good blend of form and function.
I'm currently dropped about 2" on Tokico blues but will be buying coilovers as my next major mod for more low and stiffness on the track.

Thoughts. Opinions. Your .02
I wanna hear it all

Side note - The TE37s come with 205/40 size tires. I dont wanna stray too far from the stock diameter, but how will the thinner sidewalls affect my ride quality?

Check out(I'm on my phone or I'd post a pic myself, or log onto the roadsterdrift.net homepage) Rob Ritters old NB, iirc he had 16x7 te's before the ssr's. Granted its an NB but you should be able to get a picture of how they'd look on an NA. Personally I'd stick with the rpf1's

Generally the lower the profile tyre you'll feel and hear more of the road. Keep in mind that a taller sidewalk will flex with bumps and intern help absorb some of the ride.

te's are not as nice in these two comparable sizes

i say go with RPF1's.. the size and offset of the Volks would look odd on an NA unless you found the right spacers, ride height, and tire combo.

Normally I'd say the TE37's, but since they're going onto an NA, 16" will be too big IMO. NA's have a hard time pulling off 16's. Just my opinion though, ultimately you'll have to decide on how you want your car to look.

RPF1s for wheel diameter and offset.

I feel the rpf1 is a better choice. Light weight, looks good. 16's for me are hard to pull off. But don't get me wrong, id love to own a set of TE's but i say Enkei's.

13" TEs is where it's at...I kid, I kid...

Edit: But I would like to own a set of 14x7 +19 RPF1s someday as well...

As much as I LOVE te37's on so many vehicles, I just don't think they look right on Miatas. Now the TE37-V is AWESOME!!! So between JUST those 2 I would go with rpf

Thanks for the input guys, looks like I was right the fist time and I'm going to stick with the RPFs. TEs look good in the 15 and 13 size but are about three times the pricce  plus the 14x7 will be a more funtional rim for AutoX.
