I brought out a Hyper Rev to KINOD last night and a few of the guys hadn't seen it or even seemed to have heard of it before. So I'm bumping this up. My collection is pretty small, missing 97% of the Road&Sters, but I'm happy to share what I've got. I've also got a couple itasha (anime themed car) and Champ Road (bosozoku) mags hiding out. Is there anything that people want to take a peak inside of?

Thats because you are one of the 10% of the owners that has been around long enough, plus you are one that was aware of the great Japanese culture involved with these cars. Shunned from Mnet and now we don't fit with the hipsters on CR. (Which ironically we created for the love of JDM stuff). Anyhow. You are oldschool man, 90% of the folks you talk to about these books either won't care or have never heard of them. But we know what's up, that's all that matters. I wish I never sold all my hyper revs on the skyline, civic, and subarus before it got crazy. But at least I kept all the roadster stuff. I'll try to get more stuff posted up as well.

Also since each book was like 200 pages perhaps create a new thread for each book that way it's easier to "look back" and refer to threads for info.

Sure, we can still get some sweet parts, but it's just more difficult and more attention is on the NC and upcoming ND. Which is fair, but man, the amount of options the NA had back in the day is astounding.

I feel like having came into the Miata world only a little over 3 years ago I missed out on the NA's heyday. It's heyday was the 90s! But really I think it's in it's prime, there's so many NA owners now and a flood of parts, Japanese parts are now much more easily accessible. MiataRoadster, Rev9 and Tetsuya didn't used to exist. Even 949Racing started just a couple years ago and they continue to bring new and fantastic parts to the NA chassis. I've only been around since 2006, so the NC has been out, but I don't feel like I've missed a thing. It is difficult to get parts sometimes but it just means I get to hunt for (now) rare parts, like a TH hot wheels car. It's so exciting and rewarding to find that thing you've been lusting over for a long time :D

Most of the cars shown are shop/demo cars so they have a slightly larger budget than you and I. They needed to catch our attention and influence us to buy parts. Obviously it works!
