So... I've got some garage sale stuff I wanna sell. No matter what I do, I cannot sign into Panjo to sell it. The site just freezes and laughs at me.

I've tried every browser installed on my system. IE, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera. None will allow me to sign in. No amount of plugin disabling makes it work either. On a Win7 system.

I'm not searching for technical help with this post. I'm quite technical and manage web servers / write websites for my day job. I'm just trying to share my frustration.

I've got stuff to sell. I'd like to sell it here. Panjo isn't letting me.

Is there any way we could just have a forum to sell things on?

I finally managed to get it to work. I must have banged on Panjo for 45 minutes this evening.

And they take a TON of fees on each sale. I was shocked at the cut they take.

I don't wanna poke the bear or stir up the bees, but... there's gotta be a better way than Panjo. There's just gotta be.

You can use FSOT (for sale or trade) in the Miata Culture section

What he said. ^^

Use the FSOT section.

Pretty sure we are about to discontinue panjo, they recently made a bunch of new changes I'm not happy about.

So there's a hidden for sale section??? Under Miata culture????? I just visited for the first time. Had no idea it was even there.

There's also a big "FOR SALE & TRADE" button on the top menu bar. Panjo Marketplace is listed separately.

Not gonna lie, it is pretty confusing looking at the menu and seeing both a FOR SALE & TRADE and FSOT button. Both lead to separate pages, one appears to be under a 'members only' section. Would be nice to consolidate this all into one forum.

But if you go to "Miatas & parts for sale" and press +New Thread you end up in Panjo and we are trying to avoid that.

When you click it and try to make a new thread, you get whisked away to Panjo. And then you're stuck in Panjo login hell. You have to go to panjo.com (and away from the for sale ad location created by MR) and login over there. Then you go back to MR and try to make a new Classified thread again. It takes you to Panjo where you're already logged in.

And then the ad never appears here.

I literally never saw the FSOT button until really focusing on that menu bar and looking. It's hidden partially under the SEARCH input box for me.

Yup. Now I have to go to Panjo and try to close my ads.

ugh.

I just wanted to share some good deals on my garage sale stuff with this board. So far CR is the only board reaping the benefits.

Wohoo. The last few times I've tried to use the system it's been nothing but a nightmare, so I just stopped using it.

Yep

Yeah, we've covered that "FOR SALE & TRADE" doesn't actually link to the FSOT section a couple times and that the "FSOT" button does link to the FSOT section, but no one knows what the acronym FSOT means and there are two other classifieds sections listed before it (reading left to right), so no one clicks it.

I know it's frustrating. The idea was to have both Panjo and local classifieds but like Phat said, Panjo is really falling out of favor so I can see one simple classifieds system making the most sense.

AO and Phat. I'll quit humping your legs if you drop Panjo!

Will not discuss here. But bought items off of both and the Forum route was the best and cheaper.

Our clan rules! Peace.
