Also, after the initial sticker shock, I'm OK with the price increase on the Car Culture line. They keep up the level of detail of the JH2s, worth every penny of the $5.50

I have 1 more set of the JH2s. I hope I can keep getting 2 sets of each Car Culture release. I want to eventually make a board to hang them all up as one big display. Been saving the cards from the sets I opened too, wanna make a display from those as well.

Haven't seen those 100 years matchbox Chevy Trucks at the stores here as yet or they sold out and I never knew it. Also anyone know where I can find one of the 1:18 or 1:24 diecast NA miatas by Gate or Motor Max without paying an arm and a leg for it ( non-eBay), looking for a friend, he'd like the blue one or a green. Have another friend looking for a Hot Wheels or Matchbox NC for his grandson, but I told him I didn't think one was ever made, am I wrong? Thx

Look what I found. The Red Gate Roadster a friend found at a local flea market and gave me, when I went there the next day I found the Green one, then later that day I made a stop at Wallyworld and a small Hobby store and bought the other Miatas. And had I just ordered 4 of the gray Matchbox cars on ebay. :D

Thanks- These were insanely cheap, the seller had no idea what they were, it was setting beside a plastic 1/18 Corvette so he had priced them the same. :P

To say I'm not pleased about this is putting it mildly. Don't get me wrong, I love the Car Culture series, but....

Also was strolling through Wally World and stumbled upon this 50th Anniversary Set, the cars cost $2.33 Each but when you lay them all out, its pretty darn cool.

Regarding the BRE 510 Team Transport, that thing is going to be a PITA to get ahold of without preordering!
I'm already hoping it will be in an assortment of all new Transports and not repacks so preordering will be worthwhile.

My dad has about 40 something 510 hot wheels. He is a Datsun nut just like we love our Miata's he has two 72 510s and a 69 Datsun Roadster.

He has them buried deep in his vault of weird collectibles but I will see if i can get a pic soon.

But the 1:1 models are easily accessible. 1 510 is drive able and is pretty normal fairly stock painted white. The other 510 is a different story its totally stripped, gutted, and has a big cage, fender flares molded into the fenders and is painted a primer grey, Gusseted and seam welded all over the car but the car is no where close to being done, we just need time. The motor waiting for it was in the other 510 for some testing and dynoing and that motor is actually ridiculous. My dad in the late 90s went through the whole NISMO catalog and bought every engine component you could find (and extras so he could build a second motor) it has a very elusive SSS datsun head or better known as the "peanut head" for high compression. he is running nismo header, nismo heatshield and a huge set of twin 48MM Mikuni carbs that give me goosebumps when you're on the gas and has it matched to a nismo close ratio transmission. I will try to take pics for everybody but his garage is quite a maze to see anything. The Datsun Roadster is unfortunately not near road worthy that needs a ground up restoration but everything is there.
