We will be meeting at the original KINOD spot in City of Industry and leaving at 4:30AM sharp! Traffic in the 101 starts early so we need to clear it before it can.

We will then have breakfast at the IHOP right off of the 101 in Santa Barbara roughly between 8:30-10ish allowing those who are running late or coming from other areas inconvenient to the original meet spot can catch up and meet us. The KINOD door numbers will also be distributed and applied at this time.

after breakfast we shall continue thru the 101 freeway til we get to the branch off towards the Pacific Coast Highway in Morro Bay. The location will be TBA (between the huge rock or that other beach). But the refueling spot will be at the mobil station

We will then have a photo opt spot somewhere... then resume up the 1 highway.

Further north and the PCH turns into a really tight mountain road so know your spot. Let the faster cars stay up front and the ricers + Noobs in the back. The last thing we need is for someone to be caught in the group of fast drivers obviously driving over their limit... I dont want to name names, Ryan... but we're driving up to have fun... take it easy.

we should be hitting our destination around 4-5 in the afternoon at the host hotel... right in time for the welcoming ceremony.

Important notes... Find some way to grab a type of 2-way radio. The more we have within the group the better off we will be. It will be easier to coordinate such huge group of people if almost everyone had one... If you have car troubles or need to take a leak but cant tell anyone else... not our problem.

I just called the IHOP and gave them a heads up for the Friday morning invasion, so they won't be understaffed. : )

The manager welcomes us, but requests we have one check per table if possible....so if its convenient, bring cash instead of cards for breakfast. Of course if you only have a card, others can pay you cash, and you can pay the bill.

The estimated range on all the sets in that price group is 16 miles, however I wouldn't be willing to test it over a mile. We'll be traveling in a pack though so I'm not looking for anything over that really.
