I wanted to start a thread that highlights the racers & racing in the area. I have been to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for Spec Miata, and Fort Devens in MA to watch autocross. I have had a wonderful time at both. Let's hear your stories, see your pictures, and share your videos.

I am heading up to NHMS on Saturday May 12th to check out some vintage racing.

22nd Vintage Racing Celebration

The Vintage Racing Celebration recognizes the roots of auto racing in New England. The four-day event features some of the racing community's earlier car models.

The event kicks off with two days of oval racing on Thursday, May 10, and Friday, May 11. The oval days will feature midget, sprint, champ, Indy, modified and stock cars that will put on an exhibition of vintage racing.

On the weekend, the track will be reconfigured to the 1.6-mile road course for May 12-13. Several associations will invade the track for racing that will include formula and sports cars, as well as motorcycles.

The BMW White Mountain club offers advanced diving courses and track days that are open to anyone that applies. I emailed them once about attending their events with my Miata and they seemed more than happy to have me. The Prosche group seemed a little more stuffy about it. =/

I race all over new England in my rally car (well 2 years ago ((major back surgery)) and hope to in the miata one day!

South Jersey SCCA's Autocross program is at Bader Field in Atlantic City this year so come on out if you're looking for a super friendly/fun and a little bit competitive atmosphere where you'll typically get 8 runs that are well over a mile each.
