Myself and a friend went to Nelson Ledges in Ohio for a fun day. From what I understand the track is 50 years old or so. Over the years I've heard some bad things about NL. Sure it might not have state of the art facilities and the pavement may be a bit bumpy but it is affordable. They charge about $135 for a fun day. Due to some odd circumstances my friend and I were the only 2 to show up so needless to say we got lots of track time. The track is about 2 miles long but it doesn't seem that long, I suspect because it has a couple small straights and a lot of corners. The track is also a bit narrow but that makes driving it a challenge. It's somewhat like a large AX course without any slaloms. If you like driving tight technical courses this track is worth a visit. And the staff all seem like nice guys too.
