ok so im cleaning up my center console and dash, and i want to know if anyone can help me put together a pull button style ebrake?
i would love to relocate it to the dash (for more leg room) but even if i have to leave it in the stock parking brake area that would be fine
does anyone know if its possible to buy a pull button like the one pictured below that is mechanical instead of electronic?

The only e-brake I know of is either pull or push. I do know of a company that make an push button style e-brake system. It more design for handicap vehicles. Push a button and your e-brake is on. Push it once more and it off. Link is below.

Look at the older toyota pickups and I think the older Mazda pickups. They had a pull and turn ebrake. Or just get 2 bricks and put them in front and back of one your tires.

I didn't think of it. That Nova ebrake is the same style in my parts delivery truck. Nissan has the pull level out to apply parking brake and a twist to release it. But IMHO, that in a Miata would be a bitch to use. You could also use something like this. BUT the price is about 150.

Oh, and price on that one I mention above is $1,000 bucks.

Mount the e-brake handle sideways on the floor behind your seat.

Mount the e-brake handle sideways on the floor behind your seat.
sounds simple enough, but i doubt it would be, have you done this? or had experience with moving the e brake?

Haven't done this but it can't be all that hard to do if you are willing to make the right cuts in the floor.

That would suck getting out of the car and having to pull the ebrake behind your seat.
