So I have a set of OG Sans and they have a nice lip on them but they aren't shiny! They make two sets, one is gold with a polished lip and the other (mine) is a grey face with a brushed aluminum look lip. So how would I go about polishing those? Can I even do it? I don't want to polish all the mesh (well i do, but I don't think I have enough patience) so how would I go about it? I have never done something like this and I'm wondering if someone can share some knowledge. Thanks everybody!

get some sandpaper and go to town, then hit it with some mag polish on a drill attachment...

What type of sand paper for the wheels? And you think I need to use the polisher with a drill?

you need to start at like 400 and go up to 1500, and you can polish it by hand but it will kill your forearms

i haven't finished my wheels because i got lazy. i'm doing them by hand, and i can confirm they do kill your forearms. i started at 240 wet&dry then worked my way up all the way to 2000.

Wow, those videos were super helpful. But they also made me realize how much work/time/effort goes into polishing. Thinking about how my wheels are designed I don't even want to try it. Those is a dip between the lip and face that I can't get into easily. So using his method would bash my fingers.

I'll probably keep pondering on it. Thanks for the videos.

If you're doing it right, your fingers will be just fine even if they get too close to the spokes. You don't want the wheels spinning very quickly (and I think that the videos may be misleading in that respect), and the worst that will happen if you get too close is that your finger tips will get "thumped." Not pleasant, but should not be cause for any injury unless you just jam your fingers in there like a dumbass and get them caught in the spokes.

thats true, maybe im just thinking of my wheels... i would probably get hurt doing mine, cause they have a huge double step lip that goes into the "spokes"
