Sponsor announcement section?

What would MR folks think of this? It's my single most-visited subforum on m-dot-net. I love having a single place to look for all the current sponsor news and deals. And it's right up there at the top. Heck, the current "Announcements" area could be used for this. Put site announcements up along with sponsor announcements. More eyeball traffic. Feel free to shoot this down. Hope I'm not sounding like a whiner.

I think the existing Announcements section should be used. Resist the urge to create more forums unless absolutely necessary.
