Recently I was on travel for a work assignment and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit Atlanta's Miata Mecca to say hi to some cool folks who have helped me keep my own Miata looking and running good by supplying super awesome parts and customer service. Joe, the owner of RSpeed, always parks his 1991 Silverstone Miata out front to welcome customers.

Inside the front entrance is a lobby area with display cases and a lounge for customers to wait while their car is being serviced. Straight ahead is the service counter. Meet Hector on the left, Joe on the right

Although I've spoken with both Joe and Hector on the telephone several times when ordering parts, this was my first time meeting either of them in person. After introducing myself they welcomed me to tour their facility. My friend Peter (thebluepotato) recently purchased a classic Mini and it seems Hector shares the same enthusiasm for these motoring icons.

Two Miatas occupy the lifts in the service bay. The black Miata in the background just got a Eaton MP62 supercharger kit from Moss Motors installed by the talented mechanics at RSpeed. The white Miata in the foreground is getting some engine maintenance performed.

I just thought it'd be cool to post this up here, I came across is while digging through facebook, haha.

Really cool to have a great shop who also runs a kick ass online store!

So mad I didn't drive down to visit them when I was in SC. Definitely gonna check it out next time I'm down south.
