I made these for my car originally, since the factory "dome" lights that Mazda decided to put near my feet are practically useless.

I don't have these made yet but if I can get 5 interested parties to put money down, I will make a small batch of them. They are plug and play, and controlled by the passenger side dome light switch.

They use two - 5mm high power LED's. They add an impressive amount of light to the interior when the doors are opened. They also function as actual dome or map lights.

The price for a kit will be $45 for 5 people, I can do $35 if 10 people are interested.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, this would be placed where the visors are, right?

Yes sir. I haven't seen many Miatas that still have sun visors, so I didn't think many people would care about giving theirs up for a functional dome light.

i really like this idea, but i wish i could retain the use of the sun visors. i wanna keep mine cause i think they're cool, because they're split lol.

Wow, two birds with one stone: actual useful light AND using the blank holes where my visors aren't.

I'd be in at the $35 price point.

Kit for an NB could be done, too. Since you already have a dome light, though, I don't know how popular it would be.

Stupid question, but would you sell em as singles?

I'm going to be making a half-dozen of these kits for sale here within the next two weeks.

Here is a link to pre-order your kits. The final price will be $40 each. Unfortunately, due to the rising costs of postage, I'll need to charge $2.50 to ship these in padded envelopes. My postage prices for shipping everything in my store has nearly doubled since the last rate hike.

are these metal or plastic?

The bases are ABS, the LED housings are metal.

Oh, they don't reuse the OEM visor plates? Not that it's a problem, just curious.

Are there any more of these available? I would like a set for my NB.

Might want to do an install write up. These need to be wired in, right?
