Then you are my HERO ! They are due to be delivered on Friday, the tech day will be Saturday OR Sunday followed by several hours of terrorizing Central Florida.

Only kidding re: terrorizing, more like scaring the piss out of a few of my friends.

SCREW PAY PAL They have my account so f'd up I had to cancel an order with Miataroadster because I had to go through Paypal. The dumb bastards closed me off because they tried to deposit some money to my account with Barclay Bank. Only problem is I never heard of,let alone had an account with Barclay. So how screwed up is Paypal that they couldn't deposit money due me so they closed my account ??? Makes a ,lot of f***ing sense, huh ? This shit dates back to August of 2012. Instead of sending me a check OR at least calling me,they just refuse to let me buy through them, even with my Am Ex. I sure am happy Emilio had no problems taking my money.

Well, the Xidas are on. The first thing that comes to mind is WOW I can't believe how smooth the car rides with the 700/400 springs. I also tossed on a set of 949 end links,a set of rotors and XP10 front with XP 8 on the rear.

Now I said I,that really means Galo and a really huge help, like beyond just being a neighbor kind of help from CrvLvr.

The car is everything I hoped she would be with the Xida CS setup. We went to my ( wink wink ) private test track. I tossed her around as hard as I wanted to,made my own auto x course and attacked it with some aggression. The car handled everything I could think of. Tomorrow I'm going on a private Kamikaze run ( don't want anyone else to get in trouble ) and I'll really get to see exactly what I have. So far,it's pretty damned good !!!

just wondering, has anyone had their Xidas rebuilt yet? what is the typical time frame to get coilovers rebuilt? i've heard every 4-5 years but wanted to see what you guys thought.

ok.. considering making the jump to STR next year.. and these look like the shock/spring setup that should be near the top of my list. I know its early.. but what is the expected rebuild interval on these? Lets say for a car that does up to 15,000 miles/per year with a dozen or so track days and AutoX weekends?
DUnno what next year will bring... but I bet these wouldn't like the canuckian winters we have... This winter the Miata will be the winter car, but its still stock.. next year that may all change if I make the move to STR the car will probably be the one parked in the barn for the winter.

Not concerned about dropping the Xida $$ so long as they last me at least a couple years between rebuilds..

There is no preset interval. When they either stop feeling awesome or require the damping cranked up past where you normally run, they are ready. In the most extreme hourly use (100+ competition hours) for a finely tuned national level car/drive, one might expect yearly rebuilds to maintain peak performance. That only applies to maybe 3 drivers though.
For everyone else, every few years if raced a lot. Probably never if you only track/autocross occasionally.

If not driven in your winter but used as you describe, my guess is 3-4 years between rebuilds. It is up to you to determine when they are ready for service.

Bilsteins can last well over 100K. The only reason I can figure for a rebuild would be if one of the seals fails.
