I'm wondering what would be a general price to ask for my NB. I was thinking of just selling it as a parts car, parting it out myself, or fixing it and selling it as a running car..

Details:
just shy of 300,000km
very rusty - holes in rockers, frame is very rusty too
tick in motor which seems like it is coming from the top end
burns a lot of oil
crank walk
currently doesn't run, possibly fuel pump but will figure out what it is in the next few days.
FM springs on old KYB AGX shocks
Borla single tip muffler
Damaged driver's side quarter
Damaged driver's side front fender
partially stripped interior.

Just did:
timing belt
water pump
serpentine belts
vc gasket
diff fluid
trans fluid
pads and rotors all around
rear passenger caliper

I would be keeping the rollbar for my NA. Has a hardtop that could be included for an added price.

Any ideas of price?

$800-$1,000 without the hardtop

$1,500 with the hardtop

The car itself is a mess, ridden hard, but away bleeding and wounded beyond repair.

That's what I was expecting for a price. I'll be honest, I've driven this car very hard. It was meant to be a fun daily driver/beater and it lasted for 300,000km of hard use between my friend who was the PO and myself. Having said that, I don't know how comfortable I feel selling it to someone which is why I'm leaning towards a complete partout of the car, keeping some of the parts for myself.

Complete part out coming up. Spun a bearing. Stripping the car down to the bare shell.

Sorry to hear about it dying. You never did get to the 300k goal poor guy.

Thanks Jim, so far it seems to be going pretty well with a lot of people requesting parts. We'll see home many of them actually follow through.

Yea, that was probably one of the most disappointing parts of all of this, came so close! And then I wanted to do one final burnout in it right in front of my house, except as I put the clutch in to start the burnout it completely died and we could get it started up again.
