Garage Star Shorty Console

Here is a prototype shorty console. The reason we decided to make this is Justin kept removing his center console at track events because he was hitting his elbow on the console. As you can see on this one we had cut the hole out for the power window switch and cut a piece of aluminum to mock up the boot ring and to test fit the switch. Everything is going smooth and should have a final this week and go into production. Aluminum and carbon boot ring will be an option and will be sold separately if somebody wants to use the ring on a stock center console. I will have pricing this week. The problem with a lot of the other offerings on the market is that they don't have a cutout to mount the power window switch.

I already have a metal trim ring around my shifter. Does your shorty console have the same dimensions?

The hole for the shift boot is the same size as the factory.

We did some test fitting today. We are planning to make a lip that comes out to cover that hole and use a screw to hold the console down. We will make sure everything lines up and fits correctly.

Also we redesigned the window switch part of the console. We decided to make it all one piece and have only make holes for the buttons so only the buttons will be exposed since the old window switch panel looks like crap.

Sorry for not updating. Fiberglass version will be released next week. Everybody will be receiving invoices. Here's a sample photo. I'll have photos mounted very soon. Carbon fiber should be ready the following week and aluminum trim will be ready Tuesday or sooner. Power window version is available.

Hey Ken. Are the NB versions the same price as the NA? I was also wondering if there were solutions for the exposed trunk and fuel door pops.

NB version should be the same price unless there is some reason it's difficult to make. I have something in the works to hide the trunk/gas release. Should be ready in a few weeks.
