I'm about to order new suspension and the vendor sells "Stock NB Upper Mount" with the coils like it's something that's commonly replaced when doing a suspension install. What's the story here? Is it a weak point? Something that NEEDS to be replaced when doing the install?

TIA

It's for people with na generation miatas that want to switch from their stiff solid, low travel upper mounts- to the superior rubber bushing dampened nb mounts with more travel.

Buttttt, after time, the bushings in the nb upper mounts can age and crack rendering them just as bad as the nas... So if you don't mind spending a little money you can get a fresh set with your order to rejuvenate old parts, then sell your used mounts to someone with an na to regain some profit
