Any winter tips for the rest of the warm world?:eagerness:

I'd say vaseline the rubber surround on the top..:stung:

Oh, and I learnt this yesterday when it hit -29C.... Don't use white grease for windows and door locks. White grease actually freezes.... had to pee on my door-handle.....

Ugh! That's what it is! The PO of my NB used it on the driver's door lock in the past to make it smoother but now I see why I can never unlock my door when it's below freezing. I've had to climb through the passenger side a couple times. I'm going to go ahead and hope you've used it on both sides which is why you pee'd on your door handle rather than going to the other side http://clubroadster.net/vb_forum/images/smilies/pinkgiggle.gif

Ok dude you are such a slanderer! I happen to know FOR FACT that white grease was NOT used in either driver or passenger lock cylinder of that NB! :boxing: Go get some graphite powder like you were supposed to do a couple of months ago when it was warm. And in the meantime get a pressurized cylinder of lock deicer... CanTire sells them for about $4 for the small size.

Hold on, what was the white grease used for then? You used way too much lube on that car, I'm all confused ;)
