There hasn't really been anything new in terms of NA interior parts. There are a lot of different variations of the same ol parts. But this is new. This is fresh and RM's got first dibs. :D

I've been asked if this would work with the RevLimiter switches since people obviously do not want to change their entire set up just to run this piece. The answer is... YES! As with what I am doing for him now, i can custom build a collar that will allow you to mount Adam's switches to these if you already have them. :D
As you can tell, i'm pretty excited about this item. All you retro-theme people need to seriously consider this as you get a lot of value for your money.

My concern would be heat. I'm sitting my car rignt now on a 90 degree day making interior car temps much higher sitting in the sun. Would this piece burn my arm or any part of my body that touches it sitting in the sun all day ?

Undoubtedly, but it's really no different than people who have metal shift knobs. In fact, i feel those are worst because youre forced to touch them. You dont HAVE to lay your arm on this piece unless you wanted to. Most people will rarely touch it as their elbows will be on the arm rest. But like they say in fashion, you're rarely comfortable and couture. Exclusivity has its price in both monetary, and burned elbows. :D

Admittedly this piece is not for everyone. Its mainly for the people who are looking for something that will compliment their AWD or KG Work gauge clusters, RM climate control knobs, or other metal bits in their cars. I feel that this piece is important because it's addressing an area that has not been fully addressed. Most of the shiny bits tend to be towards the front of the cabin. This would balance out the car's interior.

It's cool and a nice piece, but you have to give up a cup holder!

Maybe it's just me, yes the finish looks amazing, but the fitment from the pictures on Facebook just does not look good at all... Almost like an overlay more than a piece that was supposed to be there originally...

I think it looks great but the interior will need some additional stainless to look complete.

I like it. Definitely nice to have another style option. What's the price?
