Hello Fellow Roadster enthusiasts.

Thought Id share a recent purchase with you as not seen another set of these clocks before in a roadster either here in the UK or on the internet mx5 photo threads.

I came across them and took a punt. On further investigation I found out they ere genuine Veilside units and pretty rare (even in other Japanese cars). What I like about them is the 10k rpm rev counter and 280 km/h speedo. Useful in my mazdaspeed car with the forged engine or my FM2 car.

Anyhow here is a photo. Whilst they are my function over form and not a nice as some of the other gauges available may interest some of you JDM enthusiasts.

Thanks for looking.

Also some wheel porn. My silver Tuckin 99 N2 car needed its annual inspection test done here in the UK. Before hand took all the wheels off and directional tyres were wrong way round! While off gave them all a good clean. Here is the Fronts. RS Watanabe Type R 16x8.5 -13 offset.

I can dig it. Not the best looking gauges, but still neat nonetheless.

Pretty looking. As a thread drift what size are your rear wheels and what size tires are you using at all four corners?

I have a set of original VS gauges that has been sitting in a box in my garage for a few years now. If I can just figure out which box they are in now.

Thanks for posting this up, you reminded me to look for these again!!

The gauges look good, but I prefer the ones from RevLimiter since they can be customized.

Yeah at the moment these will be going into the near empty jdm cupboard. (had a mass clear out earlier in the year of parts not on cars). Got genuine mazdaspeed clocks in 2 of the cars and rs products clocks in the other. I had bought these as a mate might want them who is building a rotary engined NB at the moment or as mentioned will put in my forged engine car.
