I just installed a wideband on my car before I put in a supercharger. I just wanted to know if the AFRs on my car are normal.

When I start it cold (over 9 hours of sitting) my AFR is in the 16s.

As it warms up it drops. At idle it 14.7-15.3

As I'm cruising (say 60 mph) my AFRs jump constantly from 14.7-15.5.

Just want to know if any of this behavior is normal for a stock, 1.6 car.

Those values are fine; what do you see under WOT?

Yeah, seems OK. A little lean over other stock B6s I've seen. Nothing to get twisted about. Pfunk is right, though, what does it read under load?

Under WOT, at various spped and gears, it goes from 11.5-13. It generally floats around 12 though.

Sounds about right. Like KFJ said, it seems like it might be reading a little bit lean (at least compared to my 1.8), but nothing to be terribly worried about.

[When letting the stock computer run the show instead of the MegaSquirt] Sometimes when I first start the car and it seems a bit lean (16ish) at idle, if I goose the throttle for just a second the closed loop kicks in and brings AFR back down to ~14.7, otherwise it continues to idle slightly lean until some other thing triggers the closed loop control (engine temp?, timer?, something?).

I have a wb on my nb. like KFJ said, looks a tiny bit lean.
Mine starts at 12-13some then goes down to 13.5 then 14.3-7 for most days. If I give it a little throttle while warming it up it tends to lean it to 15 or 16 aka it warms up quicker. Although, every 5-10minutes it goes to 11's. I guess its to cool down the cat.
