Hey there, my names Adam and I got this 2000 LS 5spd at just over 44K miles on 12/1.

Completely stock with very minor cosmetic wear and a healthy motor, woo! Babied it home 120mi with air in the clutch line and cleaned it up well. I learned how critical maintenance is from my NA. I didn't neglect it but I bought unnecessary things instead of preventative maintenance so the very next day I changed the oil; at 60K I'll give her a major tune up. That same day I put my Konigs on that I bought for the NA, resulting in them being a bit undersized at 15":

The battery wouldn't hold a charge, had to get push started a few times, more IOUs. haha I replaced it and got reimbursed by the dealership.
Fast forward a few days I was headed home from work, (Korean slave camp fyi) and the CEL came on. I was really disappointed on the way to AutoZone to have it checked. Code showed EGR excessive flow, dodged a bullet I thought. Researched and found I needed to clean my intake manifold/TB and EGR to fix it. Well I didn't take pictures but with the help of my Dad I cleaned both, bolted it all back up; cranked it and it idled like crazy, fluctuated from 2,100 to 3,000 crazily. Checked for vacuum leaks, nada; adjusted the idle screw for now but I need to clean my IAC thing one o these days.
Another day headed home I saw a log truck headed my way and I just knew it, sure enough something flew off and chipped my windshield. Crap. Will replace it eventually, too.
So that's how she sits at the moment, I like it but I ain't sure if I'll keep it. I first fell in love with the NAs, read all I could bout them for like 7 years til I got one and nowadays I can't help but feel I belong in an NA. Maybe I'll keep this stock for a bit and save for a mint NA to enjoy instead of fixing it every day. Or get a major project and make it all my own, I have no idea; I'm a bit indecisive but I'm learning which is fun.
Thanks for stoppin' by, comments are more than welcome. ;)
