I have just finished the blanking plate for the late model NA8 with the Double Din opening.

Notice that the plate covers the outside lip of the Tombstone giving an OEM like appearance.

This allows RoadsterTech to provide you with 1 DIN or 2 DIN plates for the late model NA8's and 1/2 height or full height blanking plates for the NA6's and early NA8's.

Compare these to the NA6 Tombstone:

We can also provide you with NA6 / Early NA8 1/2 height Blanking plates for use with the OEM Radio.

Here is a shot of the 3 hole gauge plate with recessed holes:

The 1 DIN NA8 plate may be used in either the Top or Bottom of the Tombstone.

The half height plate for the NA6 and early NA8's must be ordered either as a top mount or bottom mount unit.

All of the plates made out of Marine Grade HDPE with UV inhibitors. This is the stuff that is used to make boat consoles. The plates are machined on our Gantry Router to +/- .1mm Tolerance. These are extremely ridged, are an exact fit onto the Tombstone and surpass the quality of similar products on the market today. Best of all you don't have bolts sticking out of the front of the blanking plates like a few of our competitors products have.

Of course we can provide you with either the patterned plastic or the Sand Blast Matte finish.

So... what are the prices:

Hm..looking good. To answer some of your question from the last post, I think you would be better off making a NB door card that can be placed/glued/pasted over the original. In pleather (plastic leather, I dont think it would be financially wise to keep leather around), and in a diamond stitched pattern.

Have you given thought to making NB blanking/gauge plates?

Actually we started working on NB blanking plates today... results are looking good! I am working on one little issue and then they will be ready for prime time... I would expect something by the end of next week.

I'm still waiting for a set of NB Door cards to look at.... someone brought his NA to a meet and not his Mazdaspeed 3... guess where the door cards were...

WOW instant development. I think you will go far as a sponser. Is there anything developing after the door cards? (inquiring minds would like to know)

And about your second point, it happens all the time.

Ah... to that I can tell you it will be called the RoadsterTech Rack System.... and that no one else has made one...

Other than that you will just have to wait and see..
