Random thoughts not on the frontage Stats

Hi just wanted to know why threads like the random thoughts did not show up on the stats on the front page. Maybe that was by design or accident. i was not sure.

General Discussions sections doesn't show up in general. Probably because it will eventually get so busy and being off-topic would be unnecessary to be viewed on the bumped post box. That's probably strictly for the rest of the Miata related forum.

(wouldn't be that great if the last 5 threads bumps were off topic and it made that little box kind of useless)

The idea is to encourage "on-topic" Miata discussion. Y'all feel free to post whatever you want in the off-topic sections. But, it doesn't count against post count or any of the other stats.
