Yeah made for my Miata. and 8lbs isn't heavy at all lol.

Nice design. Could this be made in aluminum, thus cutting the weight too?

Very interesting. The design looks great. I'm not a huge fan of the design in the middle of the brace. Maybe something slightly more simple would add to the aesthetic appeal as well a help with the weight issue.

8lbs is enormous for a strut bar.

It's your deal so whatever, enjoy it. But it won't be doing a good job since many (ie. FM) have their own hingless STB and others (autoexe) bolt the front of it to the engine bay itself.

I just didn't want to go in on him and turn this thread into another $%^&fest about him saying a solid bar and his hinged bar are no different, he got my opinion without me having to actually say it, while keeping this thread a little more civil ^^;

Pretty rad fabrication skills on that strut bar!! Make an aluminum version and you'll have a winner for sure!

Ive recieved a lot of want for skid plates and rear diffusers. Going to be fabbing those up next!
