I picked up a quart of the Lucas M8(Advance Auto) and a quart of the Coastal 75w90 conventional (AutoZone) and added them to my street cars 5 speed. Both are rated as GL5 fluids. The Lucas specifically states it's brass synchro safe and others have used the Coastal for years. My car has had a 3rd gear issue. This mixture has been an improvement in shift quality. Just throwing a couple of locally available options out there.
