View Full Version : Are these still available anywhere? KG Works style wiper arms

I've added a bit of rice to my car in the form of some diy KG Works style wiper arms. Now I'm left with the ugly, cracked rubber bolt covers which stand out like a sore thumb, so I would like to replace them with these polished aluminum covers. This is from a 2003 post on M.Net and I can't find them listed on any of the major Miata shops, so I'd guess they are probably long out of production.

I bought a few bits from Leni in the past but that shop I believe has closed. They look good though what you have done.

Thanks, they are a pretty simple design so it shouldn't be too hard to find someone to turn them on a lathe.

I always thought the idea of chrome wipers was ricey, but I have definitely changed my mind seeing a picture of it done right. That looks really good!

There is a rubber washer/ring that holds it in place. I haven't driven with them in yet, but I just tried to pull one out and it is held in pretty tightly.

Edit: They survived the drive to and from work. You would have to write-off your car before they fell out.

Does anyone have a set of these wiper arms in the above pics for sale or is someone making them now?

I just drilled the holes in the stock wiper arms and then repainted them in a metallic aluminum finish. You should be able to do the whole job over a weekend, or in one day if you are more efficient with your time than me.
