Max, can you pick up a bunch of car club stickers from Japan. I'll totally buy bunches of them from you.

This is gonna be an awesome experience for you!!! You are gonna be so exhausted when you come back, but every hardcore car nut needs to experience this event at least once in there lifetime, pictures and words cannot describe how incredible this show really is !!! Once you attend this event the rest of the car shows around the world will seem like a joke.

please update us with pics along the way!!

That 11 hour flight to Japan is fun for about the first 2 hours, after that you will want to punch this screen every time they show your in flight status

see you in the Japanese future time zone! :slayer:

DAY 1 : LANDING + RWB

Sorry for sending this late, but I didn't have any more energy yesterday (ask me why lol).

So to begin the customs have a new machine asking you to take a selfie, here's mine:

Then, one thing to remember in Japan is to always carry some CASH, otherwise you're in trouble;

^^ this is worth like $10

So I've tested the Japan Airlines service, what can I say, it's perfect and nothing was charges EXTRA:

The only negative comment I would have is that I asked for a Sapporo and got this:

At one point you have to escape the awesome of being in that plane with full of cute flight attendants and get to Japan!

Special toilets which I wonder what it looks like when used:

DAY 1 (continued) : RWB

So when I leave the bus, I arrive at Hyatt and see this car lineup, so classy:

Then I went to RWB meeting. I won't post descriptions as I let you think whatever you want about the cars, but they were tastefully done and it was real quality work with tons of details.

Problem is I have my hands FULL and taking photos with cell phone, and cars are like really close to each other, so I try to take as much of every car as possible and that's the only angle that actually works.

Sorry for the slow updates. I've got over 1200 pictures to edit!

My visit to ARC Brazing:

Since ARC has always been one of my favorite companies, I've wanted to visit their factory. I believe everyone that loves cars at least once seen a race car with ARC intercooler or ARC radiator. It's an iconic company from Japan who always sold highest quality (and often highest priced) items.

2 years ago they went bankrupt because of bad exchange rate, bad economy and growth of counterfeit items (TRUST almost went bankrupt, too).

Well, to continue my story, after 2 hours drive from RS Pantera (pictures coming soon), I've finally arrived to the ARC factory. Hard to find, it's in an industrial city and less ''backyard'' than most shops.

First thing I see:
http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20ARC%20Brazing/DSC_0538_zpsc2d837ed.jpg

Looking awesome. I'm sure I'll see tons of awesome cars and parts, some kind of dream come true.

As I told them I was coming, they parked 2 of their shop cars in front of the factory, how nice is that ?

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20ARC%20Brazing/DSC_0542_zps3a73d4c3.jpg

Their Toyota 86 demo car looks awesome in person. Very nice ride height, Advan wheels, Modellista lip kit and the decals actually suit the car very well:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20ARC%20Brazing/DSC_0540_zps62d6e0af.jpg

Let's not forget about the GT-R. This one is pretty much modded perfectly, so subtle and nice:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20ARC%20Brazing/DSC_0551_zpsaf71ee8a.jpg

It's also on Advan wheels, suits the car perfectly!

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20ARC%20Brazing/DSC_0550_zpsab9270cc.jpg

I then asked them to show us the engine bay of those beasts, to hopefully see their awesome parts and clean engine bays.

Let's first start with their 86 demo car:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20ARC%20Brazing/DSC_0558_zps6c34d005.jpg

When I saw this, I did not know what to say. Engine bay looked stock, it was not even running their original intake box nor prototype chamber. The person at ARC told us they were doing some tests on it still...

Other parts were installed:

Oil Cooler:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20ARC%20Brazing/DSC_0553_zps416ca575.jpg

Oil Catch Tank:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20ARC%20Brazing/DSC_0555_zps667ea09a.jpg

Radiator Cap:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20ARC%20Brazing/DSC_0556_zpsc833011b.jpg

After seeing only this, I was a bit disappointed. I asked them to show me the GT-R engine bay to see if they had more awesomeness under the hood:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20ARC%20Brazing/DSC_0563_zps697bb0e5.jpg

Stock engine... only upgraded Radiator, Intercooler & their 2-in-1 oil catch tank & oil cooler...

They then asked me to come in and see their showroom, hopefully there would be more awesomeness inside.

There was indeed many cool parts:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20ARC%20Brazing/DSC_0566_zps209a3b00.jpg

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20ARC%20Brazing/DSC_0565_zps812ceb7b.jpg

Which were super rare and nice, but discontinued and NOT FOR SALE :(

From what I understood, the company used to be an icon in racing, but since bankrupt, they needed to be on the safe side and that's why development has stopped. Another shop told us (rumor) that they do OEM products to companies such as Carbing and only do development, plans and then they build the item to a company with bigger capital.

It's a shame such a great company has stopped doing their awesome (and sometimes crazy) designs that made ARC what it is today.

Only available items now are their intake box (for some specific vehicles), radiators and shift knobs. All other items are mostly discontinued.

I've still asked them if there was a possibility of seeing some of their nice radiator caps or oil caps being done again and they told me they needed an order of 50 units to do it. I think it's possible to do it again, but it'll be hard:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20ARC%20Brazing/IMG_2870_zps85b4156b.jpg

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20ARC%20Brazing/photo1_zps573e097d.jpg

Radiator cap also possible at 50 quantity...

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20ARC%20Brazing/DSC_0556_zpsc833011b.jpg

To summarize, this is what happens when a company goes bankrupt and try to come back on the safe side. Without risking anything, there is just no possible way to develop new parts, unfortunately.

My visit at Odula in Japan:

I always loved Odula products. They make so many of them for so many Mazda vehicles that I wanted to visit their shop. Pretty far from Tokyo, it's a 8 hours bus drive (took the night bus) and rather close to Kyoto (~45 minutes Train).

When I leave the train, I find myself in a far, far, far city with absolutely NO english signs anywhere. Just explaining the taxi drivers that I want to go to a specific address took me 3 different persons to finally find one with an iPhone who basically scammed me as the 1.2km drive was supposed to cost ~$5 and ended up at ~$15.

Well, now I'm at Odula, in a semi farm/industrial area, and this is my first sight (badass delivery truck content):

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20Odula/DSC_0733_zpsb1c19b80.jpg

Reminder to myself, Odula = Over Drive. I was a bit confused at the beginning, but at least I found the place!

Then, the owner does not let me look at the cars, he wants to discuss business a bit (I like that), and he shows me his office. There was plenty of trophies showing that Odula is not only making cool looking items, they race using them:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20Odula/DSC_0723_zpsbcc50df5.jpg

He then showed me his best selling items and gave me some explanation about them:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20Odula/DSC_0724_zps981d20d5.jpg

I asked him about the super-wide SSR wheel and he told me he used this wheel while doing GT(?) Races:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20Odula/DSC_0726_zps9977f91f.jpg

He took a picture of me and sent it over the Japanese internet: http://odula.blog85.fc2.com/blog-entry-1373.html

And my visit continued to the garage.

He first asked his mechanic to bring his FC3S and show it to me:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20Odula/DSC_0729_zps31fb3cb5.jpg

What a nice looking car. It had Odula's Original Front Lip in Carbon Fiber and the car sounded pretty solid. Here's the ass shot:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20Odula/DSC_0734_zpsb2ff52cb.jpg

After that, he showed me his demo car (RX-8 R3) rocking all their aero parts:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20Odula/DSC_0735_zps36f6eb9a.jpg

Since Odula is sponsored by RAYS, it was on very nice RE30? in special blue finish:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20Odula/DSC_0745_zpsbe1e0375.jpg

I'm really starting to dig GT Wings. They are not the cheap, ricer versions we saw in 2000s. They are now very nice, wide, perfect height and not made of aluminum, but carbon fiber:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20Odula/DSC_0750_zpse6ed0b48.jpg

He then showed me his RX-8 Race Car (I always thought it was the same car... but they just share the same color!), with around 300hp:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20Odula/DSC_0774_zps521ea23c.jpg

It had this cool ram intake that brings air directly into the airbox:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20Odula/DSC_0762_zpscddfbcfb.jpg

Around the race car, there were plenty of awesome wheels and tires:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20Odula/DSC_0754_zpsb46cad41.jpg

And these tires were dedicated for the race car, never enough(?):

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20Odula/DSC_0765_zps16a18c50.jpg

It's so nice to see such a shop develop so many products just by passion of Mazda. He told me that over the years he saw many counterfeit versions of his items and was always hesitant to sell oversea. I told him that many people had the mentality of doing big bucks instead of offering original products... sad. I just want to tell you guys that when you encourage original items, you help them create new products which create diversity!

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20Odula/DSC_0777_zps113891c9.jpg

It was time to leave to another JDM shop... so he washed the car... looks so nice!

Thanks, Invert and Rev9 for going the extra miles to source unusual Japanese Parts, and for posting up the shops you visited.
You have the best parts at your online Mx-5 shop.
I notice Rev9 now sells some ARC stuff.
Lets hope that this signals the beginning of their revival.

My visit to JoyFast

Here's my first coverage for a roadster shop; enjoy! More to come!

Joyfast is a very cool, small and relaxed shop.

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0088_zps8bc2ce11.jpg

When you enter the shop, you can see cool parts everywhere:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0096_zpsf8cb58ab.jpg

Their collection of original shift knobs (the wood shift knobs are the secret items they don't show on their website, but we can get them) :)

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0091_zps0121a377.jpg

You know someone's really into Miatas when he sit ALL DAY LONG in a NA seat hahaha:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0093_zps6d9db110.jpg

He's also got a wall of all of the race cars he's owned or worked in collaboration:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0095_zpsf7efbc2c.jpg

Enough shop pictures, let's see the beasts he's working on...

When you enter the garage, all you can see is 2 bright yellow cars, but let's start with the most popular and known NA shop car:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0110_zpseb18c780.jpg

You can see he's working some cool deep-dish 16'' TE37 wheels. Those side vents actually are Honda Accord fog lights inserts... pretty cool !

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0097_zpsd35a93fd.jpg

JoyFast sloggan is Lightweight Sport Car, his car has fiberglass doors, most of the panels also are fiberglass, not much of OEM items can be found in the interior and he's running acrylic windows (even the hardtop one) and fiberglass trunk:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0102_zpsbc1ac934.jpg

It has a very functional interior:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0103_zpsc3c6b7a2.jpg

And some RARE Mazdaspeed racing seats some people would sell their kidneys for:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0105_zps739066a3.jpg

But all that car is nothing without a cool engine ;)

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0111_zps04320120.jpg

Wanna hear it ? Click here. (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10152031235298425&set=vb.278814093424&type=2&theater)

Then, we can see his NC shop car, running the same yellow paint and gloss black TE37 wheels + Garage Vary hardtop:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0108_zps849a6dae.jpg

It also has a nice VOLTEX wing:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0099_zpse2b1c79b.jpg

It will also be running soon the Jet Stream induction chamber for NC, as many shops start running it, it seems it's pretty efficient modification:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0112_zps4c59efd1.jpg

Some parts laying around...

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0114_zps04f7237c.jpg

Here's another racing car for their 185 cup (only 185-60-14 tires can be used):

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0117_zps9bc73283.jpg

And a customer car having a complete restoration:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0115_zpsc77cd5d6.jpg

Pretty clean with those BBS RG-F1 ...

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0116_zps42db2a44.jpg

A customer NC car being worked on, too:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0119_zps12bf5688.jpg

And the last car I'm showing in this post will be a customer mariner blue NA...

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20JoyFast/DSC_0122_zps060200ab.jpg

... having a heart transplant:

BONUS PHOTO: While I was driving around, I saw this MINI-only shop that seemed to have gotten themselves this NA with front-end conversion... pretty cool!

Hey everyone,

I did not plan on visiting this shop. Basically, it happened because I remembered seeing an awesome 86 at Tokyo Auto Salon that had "WELD" next to it, I was not sure if it was a brand or tuner ...

Well, so I was driving Tokyo to go to a Mazda Roadster related shop and I saw this little car rocking some Work CR01:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20WELD/weld_86worx_1_zpsfbeeedbb.jpg

Then, I saw this CIVIC (yeah it's a Civic) that had cool wheels on it:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20WELD/weld_86worx_2_zpsb834a6a3.jpg

And then I looked on top of the building and saw the WELD sign:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20WELD/weld_86worx_3_zpsbc93e033.jpg

After driving for 2 minutes I thought I would regret if I did not take a look inside, just to be sure it was not the shop of the nicest 86 I saw at TAS.

Well, the U-turn was worth it. When I entered the shop, I saw this nice drift car on Work Wheels:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20WELD/weld_86worx_4_zpsbbb0e03c.jpg

Then, I took a look at their tuning garage and their AWESOME 86 was sitting alone in the middle of it. Perfect to take pictures :)

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20WELD/weld_86worx_5_zpsf5097141.jpg

The car was INCREDIBLE. It was against light, so I tried to take the best pictures possible in the quickest time possible. The paint was AMAZING:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20WELD/weld_86worx_6_zpscf414fb8.jpg

I tried to ask the owner some question, but he did not speak English at all, so I just sent him many thumbs ups and lot of smiles.

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20WELD/weld_86worx_10_zps480496d7.jpg

Car had a very cool front lip and rear lip/diffuser + Voltex rear wing:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20WELD/weld_86worx_7_zps1f693d7d.jpg

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20WELD/weld_86worx_11_zpsa832ac6a.jpg

But this car was not only about the cool exterior, something was even better!

!

!!

!!!

!!!!

!!!!!

IRTB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20WELD/weld_86worx_8_zps876cc4ed.jpg

The attention to detail was crazy, even the matching Work Wheel in the engine bay :)

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20WELD/weld_86worx_9_zps99a5cad4.jpg

I asked the owner to start it up, with language signs that are easy to recognize and even saying "vroom vroom!!" and he did not want to do it "no no no!". I guess either the car did not run (show only), it was being repaired OR he just did not want to hear it as it must be hella loud.

The shop had a 2nd floor, so I decided to take a look:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20WELD/weld_86worx_12_zps1363b4e1.jpg

It was like a crazy shop for RC drift cars. I'm really not into that, but I thought it was pretty amazing to see:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20WELD/weld_86worx_13_zps8c1f9333.jpg

They also had a RC version of the car on the 1st floor (not the 86, but the other):

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20WELD/weld_86worx_14_zps7e56157e.jpg

Well, that's it for my visit at WELD. It was a quick stop that ended up being very nice to see!

BONUS PICTURES:
Saw this M5 next to WELD shop:
http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20WELD/weld_86worx_15_zps0d6072e3.jpg
(I call this shot the Dilly shot)

And I also saw this cool Toyota under locks:

My visit to RE-Amemiya

I still have a few more features to show and I'm keeping the bests for the end :)

So, I arrive at 8:00 AM to RE-Amemiya because I have quite a few other appointments during that day.

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0427_zps1f43f5f9.jpg

Not many employees working, it's a National holiday, but still, some have time to do some tuning!

First thing I notice is that there are plenty of cool cars for sale at the shop, like this clean FD3S on Advan Wheels:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0432_zpsbcc071d3.jpg

Or this black one on Rays SE37k and AD Facer front bumper:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0428_zps4371d52b.jpg

Also, looks like someone came before me and left their signature...

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0487_zps331b8483.jpg

There's another row of cars for sale (mainly older demo cars), like this flat gray WIDEBODY RX-8:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0444_zps2694afe0.jpg

Or this FD3S rocking Super GReddy3 Body Kit:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0451_zps90274d74.jpg

Another nice looking RX8:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0452_zpsab0369f3.jpg

This funky-looking very detailed paint FD3S:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0455_zpsef02be4f.jpg

So much details, even painted the wheels!

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0462_zps1a2045d8.jpg

Now, some of you may wonder why many are missing top of their GT wings ? Well it's because they're VERY expensive to make and they keep them for their actual demo cars (or sell them to customers to upgrade from older to new).

And now a more "RE-Amemiya" normal FD3S which still look so AMAZING:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0453_zps08bd2999.jpg

So, as I'm good at teasing people, I just showed you their cars for sale, but during all that time, I was next to their actual demo cars (which just came back from TAS2014):

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0443_zps347b95b6.jpg

Their blue demo car is so amazing in person, all the details, the wide-body, the perfect carbon fiber touches, creates an awesome vehicle worth looking at for hours:

Front end = perfect
http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0442_zps75e92f30.jpg

3/4 shot from rear = perfect
http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0437_zps614a8a3d.jpg

3/4 shot from front = perfect
http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0436_zps0ef7b683.jpg

Tail lights & GT wing = perfect
http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0438_zps6977eb58.jpg

Dolphin-tail exhaust = WOW
http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0439_zpsa68e7ea5.jpg

Now, they ask me for a last shot of their GT300 car before going on towing:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0484_zps456060ca.jpg

Okay, so the shop had a nice dyno room (they were working on a customer car):

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0457_zps9c0bf6e5.jpg

And in the garage, they had another demo car which was pretty weird looking. Still rocking a Super GReddy3 Kit:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0466_zpsda42b0f3.jpg

And some funny looking paint sheme:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0475_zps447c45fe.jpg

As I always say to people, Japan is all about D E T A I L S :

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0465_zps439d2dea.jpg

Then, I had to talk business with them, so I went inside and took a few shows; they had many trophies:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0492_zps07e493ed.jpg

They did not stock as many parts as I thought:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0491_zps53c4b350.jpg

But had something cool to show in their waiting room...

Very cool...

It won Tokyo Auto Salon a few years ago:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0500_zps37581004.jpg

And really does not look like a FD3S anymore, but it really is:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0505_zpsf642b388.jpg

We gotta give credit to RE Amemiya for creating such designs, it's pretty cool looking and looks like it's built with quality in mind:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0506_zps4367db8c.jpg

Mirror was neat, too:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0504_zps6a27b8aa.jpg

Purists will hate it, but I really enjoy seeing something new instead of the usual drop+lip. I gotta admit that the rear end was EXTREME:

http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/REV9Autosport/Visit%20to%20RE-Amemiya/DSC_0509_zps78874069.jpg

Now, I gotta work on my pictures as I have way more to show in the next days/weeks. Thanks for looking :)
