Basically, is this Nardi repairable?

This is the first steering wheel I have bought and I love it. I'll keep it forever and I don't mind the cracking. But if it is fixable, I would probably do it. I just don't know anything about restoring leather. Thoughts?

You can probably buy a re-wrap kit

Easy restoration. Rub down the leather with 800 grade wet n dry. Fill the gaps with a leather repair filler (Furniture Clinic). When the leather comes up smooth, apply a water-based black leather dye (Furniture Clinic, Gliptone etc) to recolour the leather. You can apply with a sponge, or use an airbrush. Seal with a gloss top coat, then tone down the finish with a matt or satin sealer.

There is a leather resto-kit you can buy or if your really serious about fixing or restoring the steering wheel, maybe it has sentimental value, send it to Alan Gun. I sent my old Boxster S steering wheel to Alan Gun due to severe sun damage, and that thing came back new.

wow he does shift knobs too!! Nice!! Any idea what he charges? I have a beat up Nardi shift knob from a 1995 Merlot that has been sitting in my tool chest for several years.

I'm going to attempt to restore my leather Nardi shift knob as well.
