Harbor Freight Paintless Dent Repair

This is a review of the "Cross Bar Dent repair Kit" from Harbor Freight. I was hesitant at first, but I hate body fillers, so I gave it a shot. This is a great way to save money if you have little dents and dings. It's not guaranteed to fix all dents. However, it did fix a few of my nickel & dime size dings. It takes a few tries for the dings to come out depending on the damage, so patience is the key. A heat gun will help speed up the processes. There are other alternatives out there to fixing dents, but for $12.99, you can't go wrong.

There was a fairly deep line when I first bought the car.I didn't care to much about my door, but the line on the quarter panels bothered me.

I had a ding a size of a dime where the Allen key is pointing, now it's gone.

All of these kits are pretty much the same. The key thing is the glue stick and quality of glue gun. If the glue has the right stickiness, that MAKES the kit. It needs to pull the metal enough, but not too much as to deform it when it pops free.

BTW, great review. I don't mean to give a backhanded complement or anything. These little kits are pretty decent, and for $13 this is a great find.

Thanks, and no worries, your right about the glue and the glue gun. There are different types of glue that you can buy, depending on the ambient temperature, or if you are working outside. I'm saving up for a different kit that will pull out bigger dents. In other words, a kit that comes with a slide hammer. Someone backed into my Q45T and put a big dent on the side, hopefully I can fix it over the summer.
