Does anyone have any experience with airflow with the quarter window removed? I'd assume it would have to be someone who races their Miata because that metal piece holding the quarter window in also holds the actual door window in...

Anyways, just a random thought since I won't been running door windows I didn't know if you got more wind in your face or not :)

This is the window in question:

A friend of mine had his quarter windows removed and he said the windflow was pretty violent. There is always the option of running the pop out vent windows or NACA ducts if you want more airflow.

Hmm I was afraid of that. Thanks. (I have NACA duct quarters now)

On racecars I recommend removing the driver side quarter window if using a full containment seat (halo) since the window opening is becoming very small.
Is your car intended to be used for track only, track and some street or street with some track?

Street with some educational but not competitive track days... no soft top or hard top, so space isn't a huge issue to me.

Keep the quarter windows.
