No prizes are planned, but just a great gathering of Miatas, and combined with a Swap Meet!
Columbus Ohio metro area, July 27, 2014.

Oh I bet this will be a blast, is this an annual event, and if so how many Miata's usually show up?

Not an annual event, at least not yet!! It's the first one we've done.

It's not solely an "Ohio Miata Owners" event, but being planned by OMO members, in connection with the Buckeye Miata Club. BMC is local (Columbus area) and existed since 1990. OMO is statewide, and formed only in late 2012, but we already have nearly 700 members, and a much younger average age than the other more local Ohio groups.

Not sure which one you're speaking of! - we have 4 Bryans in Ohio Miata Owners :) (and 10 Brians)

EDIT: Oh wait, you mean the moderator here, whose username is Bryan. I'm not certain, but I have long assumed that that's Bryan Wyatt, one of our members. He's in Cinci. Not too far.

So we had a great time at our car show and swap meet last weekend. Thought I'd post up a few pics, and one of our Ohio Miata Owners members put a video together which he'll post shortly.

The forecast was for "scattered thunderstorms," 60% chance, and we heard that some people stayed away because of that :/ , but it never rained at all and those of us who went enjoyed a great day! There were 30-35 Miatas present, although a few of them left early and a few of them came late, so a little less than 30 in the 2 overview pics below. Additionally, there were 10-15 other Miata owners who came in alternate vehicles so they could haul all their parts for sale. Most of the people were Ohio Miata Owners people, with also some Buckeye Miata Club folks, some Miami Valley Miata Club folks, etc.

On to the pics...

A dealer supplied BBR turbo edition in the U.K. market, one of about 750 such cars:

About 450hp, owner says he should have stopped at 300!
