Alright guys, I have been thinking about getting some flares for my NB.

I think we should see what options there are out there.

So, let's post them up.

Everything from DIY to purchased flares.

NA, NB, NC, NDs. Mild to Wild. Let's have them all in one place for people to see.

I like the NA Jubiride flares on the NB the best. A few small modifications required.

That silver one with gold wheels really gives me a good idea what mine would look like with flares.

Got my fender flares back in 2004ish? It was a Pointy board Group Buy from Adrenaline Racing for the Tuckin99 wide flares.

I still have not installed them :fp:

Since that time I have acquired an M2-1001 bumper, and a full NoPro GT kit, and have not installed anything.

Not sure, they come in a weak size (7.5") and this good size. The 7.5" are only 10% cool, where as this 8.5" is 110% cool. (true story)

Back from the dead! Considering flares for my msm since I damaged the paint on my front fender anyway and no longer mind cutting it up. As much as I'd love the nopro flares for the stock body, they're too damn big and I'd have to modify them to accept the msm aero. I don't like the current carbonmiata flares for the nb, and autokonexion is essentially MIA at the moment. I need suggestions guys

A popular mod in the AE86 community was MK1 Golf flares, which could be adapted. Guess the NB size is more or less close to that, so it *could* be an option.

RISE OLD THREAD!

It is about time to paint my NA again, and I think it might be time to put some flares on it since it spends more time on track than on the road. More meat under there is always nice.

I'm leaning toward the Jet Stream flares but I'm a little hung up because the listing on REV9 says it only adds 6mm per side but they sure look like more than that with internet/eyeball measurements. I'm hoping someone has installed a set and could give me a better idea of how much room they do or don't add.

Well... 6mm was probably right. They came in. They add no additional width over my rolled and pulled stock fenders. That's disappointing. (Please excuse the skinnies)
