Installation: Easy install, one person, you must relocated your spare.
Note: with a little persuading, the jack bar / gas cover plate can be reused, you must pull the right top corner out about 1/4", so it does not contact the brace.

Tools: 14mm deep socket (for rear shocks), and 10mm socket (for Jack bar / gas cover plate removal).

First Test Drive I did notice a difference, the whole rear of my Runabout feels rigid, and in the corners it handles better!!

it does look nice but I cant help but feel that this would be a massive pain to fit without just the right socket set.

No, easy-easy........10mm, 14mm thats all that you will need!!!!

Went out this weekend for some mountain taming, and I did find a noticeable difference in the handling!

I have the very same Carbing bar in my Laguna. I bought it from Atlnb who is a member here, and a local Miata friend. Like Atank said, I was able to install it with a deep socket 14mm. with only one issue. The limited space on the left (drivers) side would only allow a small rotation of the ratchet to get everything snug. It wasn't really a problem, just tedious. The fuel tank tubes are in the way on that side, limiting working space.

I also noticed this rear strut bar made a difference to the rigidity of my cars rear end. This is all personal feelings, I do not have track times to back it up or anything. It is a beautiful addition to my trunk and that makes me happy enough.

What other braces have you installed?
Do you have a Rollbar installed?

Flyin' Miata Frame Rails, FM butterfly brace, Cusco Power Braces, Etc. Roll Bars, I currently do not have a roll bar installed in my 94LB, but I have installed a few Hard Dog Roll Bars.

If I can figure out a half way decent way to mount my spare tire under the car I would be all over this idea.
