RDU Group Drive August 2014

At last night's meet we discussed another RDU area drive. What day works for everyone?

The drive will probably last 1-2 hours depending on traffic and pace. We will probably be driving around Falls Lake. Let me know if there are any stops you would like to make.

Well my car is set up and ready. No more rubbing in the drivers side fender, did a foamectomy that is just unbelievably comfy and tight, new rad, new belts, full wiper tank. Whenever we decide on a date ill be ready.

Man I didnt want to wait two weeks but I can still make it. What does that mean for cars and coffee tho because I would like to go to that too and not have to leave it so early as 10.

Well, could leave C&C about 11, grab lunch and fuel, then go for the drive. Most everyone that is going to show at C&C is there by 11, so there won't be much missed.

August 15th is friday. I thought C&C was on the first saturday after the 15th so that would be the 16th ?

I looked at facebook page as well it says thrid saturday of the month and says their next event is in 4 days.

There are 2 C&Cs in the area. One is the first Saturday and the other is the third, I believe.

Oh I was looking at the grande meet at the theater. Did not know of another one other than the one that use to be on the 1st and was shut down.

It was tan and some sucker bought it last night. I'm surprised that we were able to sell any interior bits (there's currently a bid war over the orange/black surfboards).

I thought Miatas (Miatae?) were for rolling deep and parking hard? Oh right, thats what Dodge Challengers are for. Maybe it was so we could get the attention we crave from old men? Ah, thats what E30's are for. Maybe it was so we could throw a bunch of rally gear on our cars only to roll slow through the parking lot at the mall on a friday night, or is that what WRX/STI's are for?. Dont Miatas in America look way different than Japanese ones making everyone ogle for overseas OEM parts? Nah, thats Acur...Honda. Maybe they're for bombing down freeways in little hordes and when stopping to get gas, argue about who got the best deal on their lease; nvm thats for focus STs.

James, as a Miata owner you can either go on the drive, or dress hair. And I hear dressing hair can lead to carpal tunnel; but even that wouldn't be so bad because its more productive than beating your meat to the list of optional equipment on your window sticker; thats what Porsches are for.

I was at the race tonight and they were handing out flyers for a open car and truck show on sunday august 24 from 11am to 4pm. Its at white oak shopping center behind buffalo wild wings in garner. Physical address is 148 Shenstone Blvd Garner NC 27529. I doubt I will be going. Never know but if any of you wanting to go see some cars it might be fun. Thats where all the trailer queens you dont see at cnc show up.
