Apologies for the confusion the title may/has created. Mea culpa.
I love my rally style gauges. Simple layout. Needle in red means trouble ahead. Today the temperature needle dipped red a couple blocks from home. The cursed plug sprung a leak. Ugh. Would I have noticed quickly with a regular gauge maybe, but sometimes the design makes all the difference.

What does this have to do with Revlimiter's gauges? He has plenty of designs you could have chosen from, and if this one didn't meet your needs you should have had them customized.
These Revlimiter gauges are an adaptation of a design Adam did in the past. This one very much met my needs. I apologize if I wasn’t clear about that. It’s simplicity was exactly what I was looking for and I believe helped me quickly notice my problem .
Revlimiter has many fine gauges I wouldn’t mind having. My experience today, nothing epic to be sure, made me appreciate the value of a well designed gauge. We are fortunate to have many excellent choices for our Miatas.

No worries. Won't be carrying on until I get that plug replaced. Who at Mazda thought that was a good idea anyhow?
I had the same issue couple of weeks back. It is plain stupid but guess came as a necessity when adapting the FWD engine to fit a RWD chassis. TBH I was expecting the process to be far worse; took me maybe 10-15' all in. Remove the EGR tube from the intake, that half inch of space makes a hell of a difference.
from the title, it sounds like you're bashing on Adams gauges...until you read your post(s). Do you work in marketing? clickbait links by any chance? :P
