Just a quick question. I've got the same wideband also from fast5, How did you wire yours in? I'm really suspect of the job done at the garage that f**ked up my build (among the many things the white wire 0.5v for the ecu is just hanging out the steering wheel column) So I'm looking to take notes from a car I know has been done correctly.
Also really loving the wheel tire combo going on.
When I messaged Reverant regarding the AEM wiring,he told me the following
White/red to red
Black/Yellow to black
Yellow to white
Tape off the blue wire.
cool thanks mines a 1.8 but I'm also using a reverant I'll have to shoot him an Email for a 1.8 wire diagram. I dont know how but the guys who did mine seem to have wired it directly under the dash and the white signal wire is also tapped off.
Also great car I dare say its the best 5 in the UK by some degree.
Wow thanks BlitzWing! That is a huge compliment!
This afternoon consisted of not very exciting things...painting calipers :/
But it was a good opportunity to test out some spacers. I ended up with 10mm on the front (the wheels catch the bumper on turning without them,so this will be interesting) and 25mm on the back.

Oh forgot to ask are you using the DB-37 connector he put in the kit or are you tapping into the stock harness?
He's told me its the yellow on the DB-37 connector but didn't tell me I could run the others on the same plug. I'm very tempted to do it for the sake of simplicity (or earth it to the same point as the stereo as its so easy to access.)
Also really digging the slim LED foglight I might have to borrow that as it seems every year I have to tell the MoT guy that I've converted the high level light.
Finally got round to getting the Stainless Elbow welded and fitted to the car! Need to get the Inlet welded to the charger (as it keeps coming loose) aswell as making a support bracket due to the extra weight.

Bought some Toyota COPs (these will be on a back-burner until I've got a gap inbetween car shows)

I cant recommend him enough! I don't think I'd let anyone else detail it,will definitely be using him again!
Looks good!
I wish I could get my car that clean. But not during pollen season.
I've been sitting on the fence about getting a strut brace since the charger has been fitted. Very disappointed that the Mazdaspeed Brace wouldn't fit over, and I wasn't 100% sold on using an OEM brace. So I fired an email over to Moss Europe to enquire about their Cobalt 3pt brace, and I was informed that it would fit. Very fast delivery from them as always, and they were true to their word!

I also ordered a 45* silicone elbow for the air filter to get rid of that air ducting which was damaged and frayed

Awhile back SpeedHunters posted a photo on their Instagram asking to see their reader's rides that were Supercharged, ready for their next article. I thought I'd send them some photos and info, knowing that there are some SERIOUS cars around the world, mine would never be picked.
How wrong was I! Happened to look on their site to see if the article was published. Scrolling through reading about the numerous cars they've chosen across the world until I stumbled on photos of the Purple Monster!
You can read the article here >> #IAMTHESPEEDHUNTER Your Supercharged Rides
