I'll have to hook up a separate reverse light, but figuring out the wiring for the lights in general is priority number one at this point. I have extra harnesses from another nb, but have to figure out which wire is which at some point today and do some soldering.

how far are u with the lights airbrush1 ?
-
I haven't made any progress unfortunately! I have to swap the rear top hats on my flatout suspension coils for their updated design this weekend, so hopefully I'll have progress to report on Saturday assuming it doesn't rain all weekend! I REALLY need a garage!

Great!
Ps. Since yesterday we have a lot of snow here in Poland...
-
I'm glad all this wet weather in the eastern US hasn't been snow!!! I'm hoping I don't even have to put the snow tires on my Lexus this year!

I don't know how to embed a YouTube video, but I got the wiring figured out today and did a test (ignore the loud music, though it almost seems appropriate )
I'll do the actual install tomorrow morning now that I sourced some hardware!

I might be biased but i think they look better than the Porter Cab lights on the NB. :)
-
That looks really really good can you post a pics of the lights Installed already? Thinking of buying a set too.
-
They'll be installed in the AM. I HAVE to do it since I'm taking the car to do some suspension stuff around noon
-
I agree with Chad, I love the retro look, but somehow the porter lights seem too..."retro" for the NB if that makes any sense.
-
I think I've already asked...what about reverse light?
-
I'll have to figure a reverse light out. I'm thinking I can tuck a small light bar up under the bumper that will be functional and not visible/noticeable unless it's lit
-
That's a good idea. I think I have seen someone using "combination" lights, having both reverse and turn lights at the same spot, by having alternate yellow and white LEDs, will look up for it.
