DIY paint job. FTW!
Washed, clay bared, polish and waxed! Had I know how easy is to clay bar a car, I'd done it earlier...
Nothing like silky smooth paint when you run your hand over it is there?
I have to clay bar my shit sometime. Haven't waxed it once said the paint. But, if it keeps raining in florida it isn't worth it.
Installed new lower and upper shift boot.

Leather around the shifter was torn so I made my own out of the same material I used for door panels.

I fixed the front edge of the soft top I installed weeks ago. I must have done a crappy job with the contact cement. Oh, well it is fixed now.
After that I took my oldest son for a drive :)
Pic time!
Put my mudflaps back on the car as the summer weather is going to be changing to seven months of rain pretty soon.
Also sanded and gave a little polish to my brake and clutch pedal. They were both covered in layers of glue from the skateboard griptape I put on them.
Fixed my coolent leak problem (but I had to bypass the heater core), tightened bolts on my exhaust (those suck) found a rust hole under my car.
Awesome day.
Put gas in it... And enjoyed the night air.Attachment 5153
