Well, this just happened. Lots of money, I know.
That's not too bad actually. good buy
Yeah, paid around the same for mine. Nice pick up.
I was considering that 1028 tombstone, not bad of a price. Glad someone was able to pick it up.
Yeah that seems to be about the going rate. I think I paid that much 10 years ago. So you actually got a good deal factoring in inflation, current exchange rates, etc.

14x6.5 Panasports, which appear to be the M2-type ones for sale in NY for $400. Need paint or powdercoat.
The 14" ProRally were sold aftermarket around the world and also as an M2 accessory option. The only difference I believe being the M2 center caps. Without them they're worth no more than your average aftermarket ProRally. M2-1001 fitment would be 15".

M2(ish) 1002 knockoff(?) on Buyee. 27000 kilometers, correct color, mirrors, front bumper and badges... but center console/tombstone, gauge cluster, and other items have been swapped. I wonder if it's an actual M2, or if they've simply bolted a few bits on in an effort to pass one off as such.
Definitely looks more like a M2-1002 tribute car based on a standard NA6. Too many details are wrong, most notably the seats, door panels, carpets, dash, steering wheel, instrument panel, radio console, etc. Reproduction M2 data plates are not that difficult to obtain. Like all used car purchases, trust but verify. Pre-purchase inspection, thorough review of ownership history, records, etc. to prove the provenance.
I agree with freedomgli about the details but it does appear to have the correct paint and it looks to be tastefully done.

M2-1028 Rollbar. Looks to be complete with padding and upper bars. Brackets and hardware, too (I'd find some new bolts and nuts, for sure).
I find it amusing that Buyee will let me bid on this (which I can only imagine would be a nightmare to ship) but not the Watanabe B-types that I wanted to badly a few days ago...
