It must be. I honestly can't remember, and the auction info is gone from eBay.

Leave it as-is for MATG. Paint gets a while to get fully cured and develop hardness, you would be better off like this
I agree, leave it as is for MATG, looks fine. You could plastidip the whole front end in blue if it really bothers you. Glad this is back on the road, props to the guys who helped out!
I had help from Mike (chiefmg on here) and Cameron (vteckiller2000 on Club Roadster). Without them, it'd never have happened.
New avatar :)
Shout outs to Shintaro (smaeda)!
I noticed that and went: :slayer:
New avatar rocks indeed
Glad to see everything come together!
YES! Looks like a very good fix, and the panel gaps are all even. Congrats for having it back in the road.
And the wheels looks very nice, too.

One MAJOR annoyance: I have to get the VINs off the bumper and fender so I can get a notarized receipt before I get the car inspected for the rebuilt title. Of course, the stickers are nearly illegible, not to mention will pretty much require the car coming partially back apart...
Bled the clutch last night and replaced my ghetto-fabbed intake crossover tube with one from an NB1:

Also was able to get a good VIN reading off the bumper. Have to take the fender off to get its number, but at least the sticker looks good and intact.
I would have given you mine.
Update: after I got it aligned, I noticed a pretty bad noise from the suspension. Turns out one of the bushings on the lower control arm (the used one that I bought, specifically) failed, so now I need to install new bushings. As a plus, now I'll get to use the Lower Ball Joints I never put in.
Dang it...
